The Visual Design Group which I directed, designed one of the first online trading sites for India. The site was built from the ground up for the TATA Finance - TD Waterhouse joint venture. We developed a site that would allow Indian and Non-Resident Indian's (India residents living abroad) to check account balances, place trades on the NSE and BSE exchanges, research local and global equities as well as provide additional information regarding the many products offered.
The team worked closely with the developers who created and modified the back-end components to work seamlessly with our front-end design.
We continued to maintain the site and trading application until March of 2003 when the joint venture and technologies were sold.
